Sturm78,

I'd say Norway. AFAIK the BEF did not operate in a mountainous region of France nor in the Belgian Ardennes in 1940.

These hills in the background do remind me of the cliffs between Boulogne and Le Havre.
So it could well be France.

It looks to me like mountains covered with vegetation, not cliffs near French harbors. :?

Hi all,

I found this image on EBay of an 94mm Vickers AA gun abandoned in field next to a Skoda 8cm Vz.37 AA gun overturned (in the background)

Balkans, Greece, .....?? :?

It's the former BEF AA battery at Le Havre Cap de la Hève. The soldier on the right seems to wear a "captured" British officer's hat and the soldier carrying a shell found an interesting "bicorne" to wear.
