Nice photo's Sturm78 from B. Central Mole in Cherbourg

Here are two pictures from an expired ebay.de auction showing the 4 guns of Batterie Central Mole (Cherbourg) stored at the naval arsenal before their installation in Fort Central. Note the roman numerals (II, I, IV and III in that order - I think) on the side that we can also see on the bottom picture posted by Sturm78 in post # 168 above (No. II).

We can also see two French guns on the bottom right of the 2nd picture: a 75 G on naval carriage and a twin 37 mm CAD Mle 1933.

I think it is a 3.7 in. Vickers (static version) from the British 248 (Welwyn) AA Battery at Cap de la Hève in Le Havre, France.

Indeed, this is the MKB Molen (Fort Central) in Cherbourg.
