Hi Sturm,

To tell the difference between the 40 mm Bofors and the 37 mm M1939, I compare the area circled in red below: 40 mm on the top picture, 37 mm below (both pictures from ebay): there are very distinctive differences. :idea:

Here a Russian manual of this gun , you can see the one's with the frame on top and with gunshield .

According to photocaption Polish soldiers :? Any ideas?? :?

These soldiers could belong to Polish units formed in the USSR

according to this source, 1st Polish Army in the USSR had one division of AA artillery.

According to the photocaption from Ebay this should be south of Russia ( Black Sea )
