Hello Wim
Please note that the bunker had 2 entrances, but the entrance under the 20P7 turret is not shown on the B&B drawing. The other entrance was connected to an underground corridor system (copy: Bettinger&Büren).
greetings Lars

Re: 624
The second entrance was never verified until new pictures showed up in 2015. In the basement you won't find any sign of it.
I have been to room 6 more than once and I can say that there is no entrance! The backdoor leads directly to the turret room.
You should no to forget that a door at the backside of the upper floor is necessary for changing the barrel of the PAK. There is a high possibility, that there were several small "doors" in allingnement to the barrel like it was in Pzw. 866. With some CAD-Analysis an lot's of photos Martin Büren was able to verify, that the barrel of the 3,7cm PAK is in a perfect alignment with the vertex of the backside, just were the "missing door" has to be.
The text in BB is from 1990 and outdated. M. Büren and I came to the conclusion that the "backdoor" wasn't a PAK-Tor but some kind of emergency exit big enough for a PAK-Barrel.
I'll attach some photos where you can see, that concrete flowed through the access hatch of the uppter floor. Maybe it's just for closing the hole, maybe they tried to fill up the bunker with concrete.
Referring to the hight of the 20P7 you have to remind that this bunker was built in B-Alt, 1,5m wall and ceiling. The turret rooms only had steel platforms back in 1938, so it is "one room", unlike the B-Neu or A 20P7 with the lower concrete platform, which could be considered as "two rooms on two floors"

Hello B00nfire
Thanks a lot for information and photos. So the lower level of the bunker is still intact. Amazing.
As I wrote in my last post, my home made drawing was only an attempt for a reconstruction. I know very well, that one should be very careful about publishing such drawings.
Greetings Lars

Thanks a lot for the info and pictures b00nfire. Do you by any chance have pictures from the tunnel crossing and the entrance bunkers.
I passed by in 2008, and really wanted to see how much was left inside, but the entrance was firmly locked.

Re: 624
I still see a mixed plan or better room numbers.
I room 6 on the front (enemy) side or the backside (with tunnel) ?
In the cross section of lars room 2 is under the gun and 6 under the coupola.
On the plan shown its the other way around.
