Here is a picture from ebay showing what I think is an FK272(e) towed by a German half-track.

But does it show an operational use of this British gun by the Germans or just a gun being towed to a "Sammelstelle" in June 1940?

Thank you Jos
It is a 18 pdr MkVI or 25 pdr MkI on a carriage MkVIP. Had the British government of the 1930s not been so tight with the cash we would not had this problem of not being able to tell 18 pdrs from 25 pdr MkI but talking about how wonderful the Vickers 105mm gun/howitzer was.

The German soldiers look to me like they're posing for the picture with a recently captured British gun. I don't think that this gun is actually being used in operation by the Germans and that the two soldiers are part of the crew. Even with the addition of the photographer, a crew of 3 men would not be enough.

Hi AvB
The 18pdr and the 25 pdr Mk1 were not used by the British and Canadians during the liberation of Europe. This would be a gun captured in 1940.
