Re: 2.5 cm Flak Hotchkiss
Hello Jos,
nice to see these pictures. Found the same gun (with the same crew!) as on your second picture a while ago on e-bay.de but wasn't really sure about type.
Second one, also e-bay.de, shows 2.5 cm Hotchkiss in travelling position.
Seems like there was also a twin-barrel type: http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... &p=1145868
Think the last picture you've posted, on the coastal position, is the 39-model.
Regards,
Barovic

Re: 2.5 cm Flak Hotchkiss
Hello Carl
The reason that I don't publice data on guns is , unless it's original data ,
that nearly every book or internetsite give's other information on guns .
http://secondeguerre.net/articles/artil ... s25mm.html
I have one page of information that the 2.5 cm Flak Hotchkiss has a max.
ceiling of 2500 meter shooting horizontal .
Regards Jos

Re: 2.5 cm Flak Hotchkiss
Hi all,
I have a small doubt about this weapon.
I think there are two different versions of the 25mm Hotchkiss Mle1938 with light mount. One has no muzzle brake and appears to have shorter legs and the other with muzzle brake and longer legs. Does someone know something about this?
Regards Sturm78.

Re: 2.5 cm Flak Hotchkiss
Hi all,
I found on Ebay.de this image of a 25mm Hotchkiss AA gun abandoned in 1940. I suppose it will be the version Mle1939 in travel position but I'm not 100% sure.
