My version - 107mm field gun L/42 Only two of these guns were delivered to USSR by Bofors in January 1930. One of them (No.2) was broken while shipping. So it is No.1.

Thanks for that Kluz, another interesting chapter in the Bofors/Krupp Soviet connection....Did not know this one yet. Do you have a good picture of what Bofors sold/offered to the SU in the 1930s?
Tks

I've read some archive documents. Real connections with Bofors began in 1928. There are no good publications in Russia concerning cooperation betveen the Soviet government structures and Bofors yet. It is interesting that at the same time (June 1928) had contacts with the Dutch HIH Siderius. I'm just at the beginning of my search.
But I am afraid that it is the subject of another topic. :?

I don`t think. The Siamese Bofors guns had a different recoil mechanism under the barrel....

Nice, a full battery of these guns in Blijdorp area of Rotterdam. To be precise the Statensingel, looking out on the Prinsenkerk on Schepenstraat (lived near there for many years). Apparently this area was a collecting area for Dutch heavy weapons upon surrender. There is another picture in this forum of a number of Bohler guns with shields, possibly behind the photographer on Statensingel....

Wonder if these Bofors guns were the ones that had been firing at the German forces on Waalhaven airport from their position on Westzeedijk/Vasteland a few days before....
