Re: 10.5 cm K.332 (f)
Hello ALVF, thank you, so maybe it be 15,5 cm K.416(f) or at least 15,5 cm K.432(b) howitzer? These two gun types operated in area where were found a device from SK-L and that breech.ALVF wrote: Hello, It is not the breech of the 105 mm modèle 1936 S.
It was used by Polish army for 75 mm and 105 mm Schneider guns too, oryginal French origin and local made.ALVF wrote: The first three photographs depict the french "Niveau modèle 1888-1900" in general use with all french artillery units since 1888 and yet in recent years ("Niveau modèle 1888-1950"!

Hello,
Please, write the dimensions (length, width) and a metric scale along the breech photograph.
It seems that it is not a 155 mm modèle 1915 or 1917 Schneider breech.
Yours sincerely,
Guy François.

Thanks Sturm.
Guessing from the rest of the photo series on Ebay (of which this photo forms part) I would think that this Picture was taken at the time the German army was advancing through France.
Best regards,
Nezar

Hi all,
I would say an 10.5cm K.332(f) gun probably knocked out in German service:

Norway, battery HKB 33/979.

Additional question: do you know kind of emplacing of these guns on batteries 34/979 and 51/977?
I mean it were guns on wheels on Drehbettungen or without wheels mounted on Sockellafetten IV

Rubber wheels are not suitable for the normal Drehbettungen. There was a pivot bolt holding a fork supporting the wheel axles, so the gun did not bounce when firing. (See Jaeger Fortification 20/2006 - Blatt 5).forttravel wrote:Norway, battery HKB 33/979.

Sockellafetten did not arrive in Norway until 1943, and then these guns were moved over to this system.
