Hello Sturm78

The shield in this form is typical for the "Einh.L.C/34" mostly placed on land , but I have also seen a picture
on small naval vessel . This type of shield was AFAIK never used on the bigger boats of the Kriegsmarine .

What uniforms are they wearing, Jos? Or is it a factory staff (Rheinmetall)?

Hello Nuyt

It could be from the Reichswehr time also the caps are typical , the uniform from the back with the two buttons
look to me a Dienstrock ???? https://www.google.nl/search?q=Reichswe ... B486%3B336

The website hem.fyristorg (http://hem.fyristorg.com/robertm/norge/ ... rence.html )
shows the following picture and identifies the gun tentatively as a 7,5 cm fortress gun on a railcar used for coastal defense by Norway. I believe that the gun is actually a 3,7 cm SK C/30.

Here is another picture of the same gun from an expired ebay auction (note the damaged end of the barrel):

Compare it with the following profile of a double 3,7 cm SK C/30 (source: Magazine 39/45 No. 150), it matches perfectly (except for the fact that the side cover has been removed on the ebay picture):

Ludvig has confirmed the presence of the 3,7 cm SK C/30 on a railcar in Norway in 1940 in this post:
