Was it built in North Africa by French troops after war?

From the presence of a legionaire and the appearance of the tower in the background I would say this was in Indo china rather than north africa.

Hello

According to a French Forum the turret was placed in the Ligne "de Lattre" in Indochina .

It looks like a turret of a M3 Grant/Lee tank.

Looks more like a Grant turret. And if I'm not mistaken, a portion of the 75mm gun sponson is visible to the left of the turret.

Looks a bit like an older AMR or AMC turret? Maybe AMR-33?
