Re: Help Id artillery
This site can help you with the identification of Polish guns:
http://www.1939.pl/uzbrojenie/polskie/a ... index.html
Note most weapons have a Linked gallery ("galeria") of further images.
Another site, from which you can start with the gun's name:
http://www.wojsko18-39.internetdsl.pl/w ... leria.html

On this thread:
http://www.fortificatieforum.nl/viewtop ... f=34&t=412
there is a heavy howitzer at Normandie but with shield. What exactly is this?
There is also a heavy AA gun. Would that be a Vickers FLAK? Does anybody have more details on this particular gun, like markings and such?

Re: Help Id artillery
Hi again
The flak gun at Deelen looks to me a "Canon de 75 mm C.A. Mle 1936 (Schneider)" aka 7.5 cm Flak 36 (f)

Re: Help Id artillery
Hi all,
I found this image on Ebay and I am not sure about the gun. I think perhaps 10cm K17.
Can anybody help me to Id. the gun correctly?
Regards Sturm78

Re: Help Id artillery
Most likely yes, the breech matches the description and the shield also looks much the same as the one belonging to the 10cm K17. But rest of the image isnt very clear to me and i cant see a few of the features that are on the picture that are present on the one below.

kriegsmarine221 wrote:Yes, thats what I noticed as well when i said some of the features are missing. Well do you have any evidence to rule out the possiblilty the gun in your picture was damaged? Because other that I'm adamant its a K17 now.Sturm78 wrote:Hi Kriegsmarine221,

Re: Help Id artillery
I cannot figure out what is the gun in the foreground. It looks like an AA gun with 4 folding legs and has a small shield.
Any idea?

Re: Help Id artillery
Hi Emmanuel,
Looks like the Skoda project version of 10,5-cm leichte Feldhaubitze 43.

Re: Help Id artillery
I'd say it's a Skoda field howitzer, 100 mm, M39 (H 3).

Re: Help Id artillery
It's too small to be a 21cm Skoda K39, K30-40 or K39-41. The barrel is not installed in the picture, hard to tell without it.
