It has been identified as Le Havre by French friends, a harbor with a ferry-boat terminal, which would explain the British AA sign. 8-)

The text to the picture is simply "Nordfrankeich, Soldaten an Pak in Ortschaft" = "Nothern France, soldiers with AT gun in village". But it seems likely to me that it's somewhere in France, because the obsolete captured equipment (as such guns) were usually distributed to local units where the equipment was from. Gander & Chamberlain ("Small Arms, Artillery and Special Weapons of the Third Reich") write in their book also, that these guns usually were distributed at the Atlantic Coast, on the Channel Islands or for occupation duties.

Hi all,

I found this image on EBay.
I am not sure if 25mm Mle 1934 or Mle 1937. The wheels of this gun not match. :?

Here a nice Ebay photo to compare both French 2.5 cm Pak guns , on the left
the 2.5 cm PaK 112 (f) ( Mle 34 ) and 2.5 cm PaK 113 (f) ( Mle 37 ) at the right .

Nice find, Jos. A Renault UE with a 25 mm Mle 1934 (2.5 cm Pak 112(f)). Once again with a hastily painted Balkenkreuz indicating a captured French vehicle.
