The length of the piece of barrel with the smallest diameter (i.e. on the muzzle side) seems to indicate a 30,5 cm SK L/50 gun at MKB Friedrich August rather than a 28 cm SK L/45 at MKB Prinz Heinrich.

Looks like one of few batteries along Westwall with heavy coastal guns.

Hi all,

I found this postwar image on a Norwegian forum (sorry I do not remember the exact website)
The gun barrel is a 105mm ex-.french Mle 1913 (K.331f in German service) but.... any idea about the mount??

Is it a German WW2-era mount or a postwar norwegian design ??

Hi Sturm, it looks like standard German casemate mounting for K.331f - see the photo from Ny-Hellesund.
