Found this:

A Canadian gunner chalking messages on to 15-inch howitzer shells in September 1916.

I think russian 122 mm.
I see 122 mm O-462A HE shells and SH-460T schrapnell shells with T-6 fuze (the pointy one) and some with old WW1 pyrotechnic time/P.d. fuze.
