This is the 121 kg concrete piercing 21 cm Gr. 18 Be, shot by the 21 cm Mrs. 18 and kz. 21 cm Mrs. (t).
Some are packed in the wicker Geschosskorb des 21 cm Mrs. 18, with the base fuze BdZ. f. 21 cm Gr. 18 Be clearly visible.

Best regards,

Zünder

Hello
This may be a bit off-topic, because I am pretty sure that it is not a WW2 thing. I apologize for that.
The rusty thing on the pictures was found recently close to a German bunker near the training grounds at Oksbøl/DK. I think it is a postwar thing, but I think it does not look like a normal shell for the 203 mm M115 howitzer formerly used by the Danish army.
Can anyone recognize it?

Hello Sturm78
Thanks for that. I am not an expert on this, but I do not think that the rusty thing looks like any of those. I do not know the exact caliber size, though.
Some special characteristics are the very wide copper band and the apparently cylindric (non-cone) shape of the whole thing. There were no German guns of that size in this area during WW2, so I still guess that it must be something post-war.

There were divisional batteries with 17 cm and 21 cm guns near Oksbøl, but the wide copper band doesn't seem to match those. I'm no ammunition expert either though.

Thanks, that is new to me.
By the way, the rusty thing does not seem be a 19,4 cm shell neither (see picture). That was otherwise my first thought when I saw those photos, since this type was used in coastal batteries in DK.

Yes, 15 cm Granate 36, and indeed for 15 cm s.FH 18.
The shells in post 801 look like 21 cm Granate 37 to me, fitted with 2 different fuzes: either a AZ 23 umg m. 2 V or a Dopp.Z. S/90.

The Oksbøl shell is definitely not german WW2, there's no german with a drivingband that wide.
I think it's a postwar shell. (not my area of expertise)
I would like to know what the blue substance is, plastic or some sort of corrosion?

Best regards,

Zünder

I think 30.5cm Skoda M11 Austro-Hungarian howitzer shells. I think 380kg M11-9 grenade to the left and 300kg M15-9 to the right. Is this correct ?

Thanks Zünder, I agree with that.

The blue substance looks like heavily corroded aluminium, eventually discoloured by the copper part. I will try to find out.

Looks like the shells are "7.5cm Gr. Patr. 38 HI/A Kw. K. 40". See page 65 in the pdf copy of Dienstvorschrift 435 1 Handbuch Die Munition Der Deutschen Geschutze Und Werfer to be found at Internet Archive
