Hi,

The mounts are the type used for vehicles and it looks like the photo is taken in the back of a signals truck?

Hi there,
In the of one of our bunkers (622) we have found in the gaslock footprints of a "werkzeugrahme" just like on the picture posted on the previous page.
In the 608 the same footprints are found in the planraum.

We would like to make replica's of it, and i was hoping someone knows the depth of this rack?

These racks were fixed to the wall by 2 small steel plates, probably to prevent it falling over.

Thanks in advance, Tim!

On picture from: 03 Feb 2011, 20:31 could be seen quite rare in Wehrmacht service captured polish lmg 28(p)-(rkm wz. 28)- licenced/updated clone of BAR or it's belgian version.

I found two very similar racks in a Vf1b today, they are made of steel. Unfortunately the bunker is going to be demolished. I saved the racks for a museum, and they will be used in a future bunker restoration.

Re Postby forttravel » 09 Dec 2014, 21:31. I am afraid they ar not a BAR derivative, they are French FM 24/29s.

Does anyone have any information about the metal racks i posted above? As they are made of pressed steel, they must be mass produced. Standardized bunker part?

I know that Etienne and Dirk also found several in France , so it must be a standardized item .
