I found this image on Ebay. According to photocaption Greek bunker. Is it so?

As MLW wrote it is part of the Metaxas Line. The same bunker is shown on picture 75 in Denkschrift über die griechische Landesbefestigung. Since the geopgraphical names in the book are not always the same as they are nowadays it is not easy to locate, but I reckon it is in the area of Promachonas.

Best regards,

Very nice! I dearly love bunkers and towers. This one could be the mini Flakturm.

The photo is of a French artillery casemate (mounting 75mm cannon) near Sedan. As I am away from my references, I am uncertain of the exact casemate name and location. In the foreground is a crater from a Stuka bomb.

When I lived in Italy (Sicily, NAS Sigonella) in 1995 there was one between the base and Motta S. Anastasia, I would see it every day on the drive to work. If anyone has a picture please post it for me. Thank you.

Marc is correct, it is actually the Casemate d'artillerie de Vaux-Dessus,located just west of the village of Frénois. As such it is also known as the Casemate d'Artillerie de Frénois. Nowadays the crater has been filled in, albeit just like a part of the casemate itself.

The plan Jos showed is actually a different type, armed with two 75mm guns, encountered in the Sundgau (Around Altkirch, close to the Swiss border).

A concrete observation post hit by multiple rounds. Any idea of the location?
I can read part of the text and something like "" Fritz auf Fort Mallone .... erledigt von 8.8 Flak".

Hi Emmanuel

It is a concrete exhaust for the air intake and out with defence , the
Fort Mallone is old fort that was refitted before W.W. 2 at Namur .
