It appears to be a 100 MM Kanone in Schirmlafette (10 cm K.i.S.L.) from the fortress of Metz, however the emplacement does not match any I have seen.

Roland is right. Hard to identify the location, those "turrets" were at Metz, Thionville, Neuf-Breisach, Strasbourg and Thorn (Poland). It would be very interesting, if it is used by Germans in any WWII field position.

For the information - the photo of WWI field position, equipped with those weapon.

Hi Uwe, it looks like 19th century fortress gun (could be used as a field gun). Maybe Krupp, because of round shape of the breech. It was obsolete at WWI.

Hello Ondrej, thanks for your help.

its a WWII photo and i dont think that these guns were more than 20 years in position in this field in completet battery. the position looks like new made. so maybe it was planned to used them against wehrmacht?
