It is a 12 pound flank defense gun used in the campioniers of pre 1914 french forts.

Roland Many thanks for narrowing that down for me, so a Canon de flanquement de 12 modèle 1884 I think.

looks like an 10,5 cm K. 331 (f) at Ringbettung...

but i dont know....

Hello Uwe ,
Interesting photo , it is an 7,7 cm FK 96 n/A minus Oberschild .
But notice the Richtsitz to left and Ladesitz to the right .

Hi Jos. it should be Gruson turret (German product). The model from eightees or ninetees of the 19th century. The massive sides are made of "hartguss" not the steel.

It looks like kind of Krupp howitzer 28 cm? It was a monument of 1ww fallen citizens of Schomberg (Upper Silesia, now Poland).
