Is it known where and when this picture of the Cockerill was taken? I see troops that could be German Gebirgsjaëger and vehciles in the distance that could be RSOs. For some reason I think this could be SE Europe. Were some Cockerills taken there from Norway? Or is it today's sun that blinds?

Ah, that explains it, but why 5 guns in Sweden? And what about the same 8 guns from Schneider?

Hello ,
1) 5 x guns in Sweden ??? Most of 10,5 cm Cockreills were based at Hoytorp Fortress
near the swedish border . After Germany advance in 04 . 1940 some Army units crossed
( fled ) into Sweden .
2) A link to the 10,5 cm Cockerill :

3) Norway bought 8 x 10,5 Scheider mobil posisjonskanon L / 28 Schnieder - Canet M /1901
During the WW II the guns were used both as coast artillery and field artillery . The first
two costal batteries were at Mandal and Farsund . The Germans did not have any own Gerät
number for this gun .
