Re: Panzerbatterie
It's a precise location (WW/OWB ??) , or just a theoretical idea?

Re: Panzerbatterie
I think one of the gun bunker's foundations was built together with underground tunnels and a protecting B-Werk.

Re: Panzerbatterie
Found a plan of the bunker that was used for the 10 cm T.K. , these does not fit with the
drawing in the book from R. Jurga . Only the entrance defence from stairway is the same .

Re: Panzerbatterie
Hard to say, how many times the Germans were changing plans of the O.W.B. According to Polish sources, there was ae early plan (1935) to built 4 armoured batteries here - one with 4 x 10,5 cm L/52 cannons in 32P8 turrets and three bateteries with 3 x 15 cm L/35 howitzers in 33P8 turrets.
They have partially built one cannon battery (Panzerbatterie 5), but only for three turrets. Most part of the underground parts were built (but not all the parts shown at the plan posted by Jopareya). They have built all the three shafts to the turret blocks and the lower floor of one block - with the turret placed at side, not center (see the attachment).
The plan of the battery at first post does not fit to any existing part of the O.W.B. underground. However it could be any project for that line.

Re: Panzerbatterie
Hello,
I think the "Panzerbatterie" in the book of R.Jurga are the first line defense, mainly for direkt fire like anti tank.
The opening for the gun tube goes only from -10° to +10°.
The "Panzerbatterie" from Jos is from the second line defence, mainly for artillery.
The openining here is larger. It looks like up to 45°.
It is for the long "10 cm Turm Kanone" or the "15 cm schwere Turm Haubitze" or the "15 cm Turm Kanone".
In the legendary "Panzer-Atlas" the drawings from these turrets are all blanc.
The picture from Jos is the only drawing of these turrets (so I know).
Congratulations Jos, You have a nice archiv.
