Hello All

If you want to visit the V 149 in Utrecht you got to be quick , because this large bunker is
going to be destroyed . Inside the bunker is completely renovated in the Cold War period .

Hello Jos,

thank you for this sad info!

As fas as I remember the destruction of this bunker was told to be realized two years ago. Luckily it didn't happen until now. Do you know why this destruction was planned? I remember rumours about street enlarment plans of the community of Utrecht.

Will there be a possibility to visit it prior to its destruction?

Greetings

Daniel

Hello Daniel

The destruction of the bunker has not begone but all tree's and bushes are already gone
I have seen on a Dutch Forum that there is a rehearsal place for a pop group in the bunker
and they were trying to contact this pop group who has a key of the bunker .
If I have more information I will E-mail you , I know Dirk Peeters also wants to visit the bunker .

Hello Jos,

thanks for keeping us updated. Hopefully I will visit this one before the destruction. Unfortunately I went to the Fl 250 in Utrecht just one week too late :-(

Greetings

Daniel
