The Siegfried Line

#1

Post by mstevens77nl » 16 Apr 2002, 21:51

This Summer I am planning to go to some sites, like the Hurtgen Forest and the Siegfried line(parts of it). For that I am looking for some more information:

-Is there any good website that covers most of the Siegfried Line, or some good maps of where it was exactly.?

-Is there a book, with in it, sites that still remains from the Siegfried line(bunkers, fortifications, etc.)?

Thanks

Hi Mstevens. Are you perhaps related to Willi Stevens ? he was a friend long time ago. Was in the kriegsmarine, after the war escaped from camp and served 4 years in the French Foreign legion. if you are; "small world !!!" If not, sorry to have bothered you. Regards. HN.
