In holland there were alot of KSS, grosschaltstelle and other bunker camouflaged as houses. Often with tiled roofs..

Als logic solution when you want to camouflage bunkers in urban terrain.

Hello all, yes interesting stuff.

In book boulogne some invieuw on the letter(numbering)

KVA B: K, L, M, P, Q, R
KVA C: T,V, Z
KVA D: W

Each letter is a important Schaltstelle and mostly a bigger bunker like Verstarker-ausweichbunker or a 617.

The smaller Schaltstelle like spoken above are numbered in KVa C: 1D (= mine d'or) or 3AD

The number infront of the letter refers to the line. So Schalstelle with a 1 or a 2 refers to Marine Kabel 1 and Marine Kabel 2. When Awall was build a 3th Line was placed in KVA C to connect everything with all lot of new strongpoints.

The lettering and numbering was probely used in whole area 82 AK.
Area 89 AK have the 3 digit numbering.

Then there is a numbering to al bunkers with telephone connection. like Z1 = 117: connected to large Schaltstelle Z. please note that the number is after the letter so not line 1 but bunker 1 connected to Z.

Other bunkers have number like 3AJ3 from line 3 etc etc.

Greetings Ben

Hello,

I was searching in some documents.

A did know that a 142 was a Sammlersladestand but here it also is named as a Sammlerladestand und Kabelstaltstelle.

so the 142 can be placed within the Kabelnetz.
