Re: I need help to Id mortar
Both are ex-Soviet i.e. war booty.
SA 113155 is (in Finnish use) "50 Krh/I ss.ven"; after the war 46 pcs were sold to Interarmco.
SA 113154 is (in Finnish use) "50 Krh/II ss.ven"; remaining 5 pcs were scrapped in 1948.
The info comes from Markku Palokangas, the former custodian of the Finnish Military Museum.

Some sort of direct fire experiment? The angle of elevation appears much lower than the usual minimum of 42 deg or so.

Hi all,
Does somebody have any information about the two Russian mortars that I posted here on 25 Jun 2015 ??
Identified by veeteetee as
50 Krh/I ss.ven
50 Krh/II ss.ven
On the other hand, can anyone identify this another mortar?
