Madsen 20mm AA guns
Hi all,
I found these images on Ebay.com of Madsen AA guns.
I know that these guns were used during the Second World War by Denmark, Finland, Hungary and Germany, at least. I think it remained in production by the Germans during the war, but I am not sure. How many were manufactured?
However I think there were several different models of Madsen 20mm anti-aircraft guns. I do not know the designations or Danish or German. Have anyone more information and/or pictures of these guns?
Thanks in advance. Sturm78

Re: Madsen 20mm AA guns
Thank you very much for your information and images, Jopaerya and Martti.
I think there were more than one version of the 20mm Madsen model 1933: a version with legs with holes and one without legs. I think that the Brazilian Madsen guns had no legs and may shoot on her mount wheels. See image 1
According to your information I think :
Image 1 : brazilian Madsen M1933 (I think without legs)
Image 2 : to the left, rare Madsen with cruciform carriage
and to the right a Madsen M1933 with legs with holes
Image 3 : Madsen M1935 on pedestal mount (I think perhaps the 2 axles version ??)
Regards Sturm78.
