Hello Jo
Look like this a Carl Zeiss-Dresda Z.Schr.E.C/6. for the 10.5 cm S.K.C/32, maybe it was also used on other guns ??

Hi all,

8.8cm SK C35U or 10.5cm SK C35U ??
According to Ebay photo caption, this is U-628, a Type VIIC U-boat, so if this is correct would be a 8.8cm gun....

I think, that is 10,5cm UTOF C/16 , well "packed in salted ice".
II this picture the most important image very well seen is the beauty of the ice.

Well, it seems that the Type IA submarines (U-25 and U-26) were equipped with 10.5cm UTOF C/16 guns when they were comisioned in 1936.
Then, in some moment in 1937 or 1938 the guns were changed by 10.5cm SK C32U guns, as seems to prove these images of U-25 as completed (with the 10.5cm UTOF C/16 gun) and in Spain in 1938

Thank you for response Sturm78.
I answered 'no' , because your questions was about
WWII U-boat.
About U25 and U26 main gun saga, was many discussion on AHF, but years ago and you are wright.

Vladalex.

Hi all,

An image (from Ebay) of U-30 submarine with a old gun. Could be a 8.8cm Tbts.K. L45 gun ?? :?
