Hi all,

Another question. I found these two images on Ebay. According to photocaption Torpedoboot Greif, so I think 10,5 cm L/45 C/32 guns. But one gun without shield and the other with shield?? 8O

Hello Sturm78,
Thanks for uploading !
Greif is one of the Raubvogel- class ( Type 23 )
The front gun has a shield
Of the after guns one has shield , but the other is without
shield .
The photos from Kristiansand ( N ) and Malmö ( S )
shows the same gun :
10,5 cm Ubts u Tbts. L/45 ( Krupp ) in 10,5 cm Ubts . u. Tbts . L.C/1916

Hello Sturm78

Thanks for the photo of the Torpedoboot , this must be the same gun .
I thought it was a railway gun , placed here on Axis Forum , photo from Ebay .

Hi all,

Can anybody help me with this gun?
I find it quite difficult to distinguish between the 10.5cm SK C/32, 12.7cm SK C/34 and 15cm SK C/36

Hello Sturm78,
Thanks for uplading !
The gun is a :
12,7 cm S.K.C/34 in 12,7 cm M.P.L.C/34
on German Zerstörer
To see the difference of 10,5 + 12,7 + 15 cm ???
a) look out for the numbers + shape of " Visirklappen "
b) which way the " Viserklappen " opens :
- upwards
- downwards
- inwards ( towards the gun barrel )
- outwards ( towards the side armour )
*** On the 12,7 cm S.K.C/34 you can see it by two small +
narrow " Viserklappen " open upwards , from a distance
they look as two raised " eyebrows "
*** On the 15 cm Tbts C/36 have :
two broad "Viserklappen " open upwards
two rectanguar " Viserklappen " open downwards
Hope this helps you
regards
ludvig

Thank you very much for your answer, ludvig. :D

About your information of the differences between the 12.7cm SK C/34 and 15cm Tbts C/36 guns, I think the main difference between both guns is a bulge in the roof of the 15cm Tbts C/36
As for the Viserklappen, I have seen many variations in the forms and it is a bit confused. :?

Hi all,

I need help with these two images:

Image 1: According to photo caption, the ship is a Type-35 minesweeper so I suppose the gun is a 10.5cm SK C/32. Can anyone confirm it?
Image 2: 10.5cm Sk C/32 or 8.8cm SK C/30 :?

Images from Ebay
Thanks in advance. Sturm78
