Hi all,
Jopaerya, I asked for this same image on 23 Dec 2009 in this thread..
Ludvig, as for my image of 07 Jul 2010, in the book "German Naval Artillery. Vol II" of Miroslaw Skwiot, the image is identified as a 12.7cm SK C/34 gun.
Regards Sturm78

Hello Jos ,
Interesting find !
Looks as an :
8,8 cm SKL/40 in MPLC/1906
Good drawing in Hans Mehl : Sciffs - und Küstenartillerie
page 80 .
You can also buy a scale model in modellbau shops on Internet .
Regards
ludvig

Re: Id. naval guns
Hi Jos,
Here is another picture of a similar gun and identical casemate. it allows to see the side of the shield. It comes from ebay.fr a year ago. The caption mentioned that it could be have been taken in the Calais/Boulogne-sur-mer area.

The camouflage patterns and the destroyed barrels match perfectly, I think it's the same gun and casemate.Manuferey wrote:Here is another picture of a similar gun and identical casemate.
