7,5 cm le. Gebirgs-IG 18

Hi all,

According to Ian V. Hogg in "German Artillery of WW2", "...in 1937 a lighter version of 7.5cm leIG18, known as the 7.5cm leGeb.IG 18, was introduced for use by mountain troops. The ordnance was identical to the earlier model but the carriage had a light tubular split tail, no shield, and lightweight spoked wheels; it could be rapidly dismantled into six mule-pack loads...."

I've seen some pictures of this gun. Here, a sequence of pictures showing a 7.5cm le.Geb.IG 18 in mountain terrain (from Ebay.com).
In these pictures you can see the gun with shield, though of a different model from the standard. I have seen other pictures of this gun with this shield, so I think it would be a standard equipment (contradicting to Ian V. Hogg).

I have also seen the denomination 7.5cm le.Geb. IK 18. Is it correct?
