I have seen some references that this unit was in the Allied side.

Thank you Dili. In the video appears a US Jeep, so they may be italian co-belligerents forces.

Adrien helmet probably means WW2 or near since in WW1 i doubt they were widespread in second line troops, also electrical/telephone posts. The gun is 76/40. If this WW2 then it can only be the T.A.76/1/S at Sampierdarena since it was the only one with 6 guns. The other 76/40 apparently had only 4 guns.
But this are only conjectures.

Hi Dili,
It doesn't look to me a ww2 picture. You're right, the guns are 76/40 but the location is not Sampierdarena. The landscape, in the photo, is flat, but the city of Genoa is mountainous. Another particolar: somewhere i read the T.A. 76/1/S was in (or near) the harbour of Genoa. (sampierdarena is a district in the west of Genoa)
regards
Massimo

I agree the photo have more the feel of those from WW1.
When i said Sampierdarena was only at war start for Italians 10 June 1940, sorry to not be enough explicit . Of course the rail cars could be moved and they could be making an exercise in plains say in 193x...

It appears the 152/40 in the drawings above.

Here are 152/40 guns very similar to the guns posted by Sturm78 on the 1st page of this thread:

What is this gun? The shield looks different from the shield of the 152/40. :?

According to the Italian magazine "Storia militare" of November 1994, there were actually two types of 152/40 railway guns: one like on the previous drawing and another one.

Image

Here is a nice model of the 2nd type and it looks quite similar to the 2nd picture in my previous post (compare the "sheltered" ends of the railcars).

Here is a picture from Cinecittà Luce S.p.A. of the same type. Note the ring next to the muzzle that we find on some other pictures.

And a view (also from Cinecittà Luce S.p.A.) of the barrel of the same gun as on the first picture of my previous post (compare the camouflage pattern 8-) !) :
