In between Koksijde and Oostduinkerke this Scheinstellung can still be found.
The site is heavely overgrown with thick thornbushes that it is impossible to take a photo showing the remains... even when standing next to them it is still very hard to notice them. There is very little to see and only the most western bettung can be accessed and gives a clear view of the perfect circular embankement made out of sand and the perfectly flattend floor. The floor was still very flat after all these years of rabbits digging holes and plants turning up the soil... that I realised afterwards that this might indicate an actual concrete floor underneath... so oone day I will be returning just to poke a stick in the ground.
Notice for those who are planning on checking this Scheinstellung and it's surroundings; this is private ground owned by the watercompany (IWVA) and be shure to wear long thick pants ...
