Hi Jopaerya,

In your first image, the truck is a Lancia 3RO

Hi all,

Another image of a Cannone da 90-53 CA on truck. In action at Alamein, 1942

I'm looking for wartime pictures of this gun (towed version) in travel position. Can anybody help to me?

Hi Jopaerya,

I know this great website about Italian WW2 weapons but the images of this site of 90mm Ansaldo AA gun in travel postion are taken in postwar, and I am not sure that the gun-carriage is the same. The Italians tended to use solid-rubber wheels in artillery during WW2, not pneumatic wheels.

Thank you very much for your image, Jopaerya,

It is difficult to say if the picture was taken during the war or after war

I have never found an war image, despite having a number of 132 "campale" made by Jully 1943.

Another mysterious one is the 37/54 AA that started as navy gun but then employed in land too, by 1 Jan 1943 existed 280 some sent for Libya, Tunisia in last stages of war in NA. No photos i have seen.
