Hello Kurt

I think it's a early Marine Flak batterie and they were only in the U-boot harbors in France, not in Pas de Calais .
The gun shield on the photo looks from a 8.8.cm M.P.L.C/13 , I don't know for sure , but I thought they were never
used in France .

This blurry photo was in the same row as the ones from Etretat, but I can recognize anything , maybe a other location ??

hum,I have a doubt right rear fence, is the railway ? maybe fecamp.the back of the photo doesn't look like havre.

Any suggestions about this strange open gun position? It has been suggested that it is for some kind of up/down mechanism. Unfortunately it has been filled with rocks, it's at least 1 - 1,5 meters deeper than the image shows. It is located at a coastal battery in Norway. HKB 5/980 Vesteröen.

In the german map it's shown with two symbols: Unter stand + offende kampstände.
