The excerpt of the book "Eisenbahnartillerie" mentions flatcars with 2 x 2 "essieux" (= axles). On Jos' pictures, I count 2 x 3 axles. :? But Jos' last picture indeed shows the flatcar No. 929500 referenced in the above mentioned excerpt.

Separately, the flatcar looks identical to the flatcars on which the 15 cm K(E) and 17 cm K(E) were mounted.

Thanks to uwe (schwarzermai) (refer to http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... 0&t=208094), we know that the railway unit armed with two of these 10,5 cm Flak L/45 guns was:

Eisenbahn-Geschütz-Zug 715
Image

I think I have found the Feldpostnummer:

37717
(Mobilmachung-1.1.1940) Zug Artillerie M.P.L.715
(28.4.1940-19.9.1940) gestrichen,
(28.2.1941-29.7.1941) 4. Zug Munitions-Verwaltungs-Kompanie 700
(1.3.1942-7.9.1942) Armee-Munitionslager Nyland.

M.P.L probably stands for "Mittel Pivot Lafette".

Another view of the same gun at the same location (expired ebay auction). The other side of the picture bears the mention of Kiechlinsbergen, a German town on the other side of the Rhine from Colmar, France.
