Unterstand mit "Heinrich"-Rahmen

#1

Post by jopaerya » 24 Jul 2010, 11:13

Hello

A few photo's from a bunker that was made of corrugated iron ( Wellblech ) on top of the bunker .
Above the Wellblech concrete could be poured for extra protection in different thickness , this type
of Wellblech was called "Heinrich" , there was also a other type this was called "Siegfried" . The model
of the "Siegfried" is a kind of Gothic form .

Photo's = Ebay

Regards Jos

Hi,

I just want to add my 5 cents: 2 drawings with section view showing use of Wellblech used in field fortifications.

Hello
Added pictures of two pakgarages. Both from same stützpunkt, one had periscope.
This should be the "Heinrich" used in these ?

Thanks Stril

Nice picture's , yes you are correct the are of the Heinrich type , I have also seen bunkers with only one Heinrich
plate i.s.o. the two plate's bolted together as on your picture . The periscope pipe could be a Czech one ??

Hi Jos

Nice drawing. Think you are right concerning the origin. Attached a couple of fresh pictures from a trip to the Czech republic last week. I think I have seen similar tubes in a couple of 501 at Lista too.

It seems to be a czech one :-)
There are several bunkers with these in my area. If im not totally wrong at least one with the optics in place.

Hi Tormod

This is the best I can do. From a almost perfectly reconstructed vz.37 at Pevnost (Werkgruppe) Stachelberg.

The same periscope were used a lot of in early Vf-bunkers (with Wellblech) on both sides of the Oslofjord.
