Thanks again Tønnes! Just let me know the next time you're around Kristiansand, you probably only saw a third of Vara last time :)

Does anyone know the exact dimensions of the "Heinrich"-Rahmen?
The one from stril's post looks different than the others.

I found a Wellblechunterstand in Germany, but I don't know if it's a "Heinrich".
The area was a Fliegerhorst of the Luftwaffe (Wehrmacht) and a Truppenübungsplatz of the Bundeswehr, so I'm unsure who built it. However my rough measurements match the "Unterstand aus Wellblechbogen "Heinrich"" (see drawing below) quite well.

You can also find these drawings (and more) in this book:

I have used the dimensions found her http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... 5#p1490661 (First page in this tread) in my 3D models with Heinrich Wellblech and it seems to fit well with the bunkers other dimensions.

Cheers

My theory is that a Heinrich-Rahmen has about 11 corrugations per sheet. So technically that wouldn't be a Heinrich-shelter, if we want to be absolutely exact. But to be sure I'd have to find firms that produced it during WW2, no luck so far.
