Bauformen
Re: Bauformen
Good evening Dirk
Very nice line of Ringstände discussions you have started the past few weeks.
Attached a primitive overview of some of the different variations of the 58c I have found in DK so far. A couple more have been discovered since I made the overview though.
I'm still offshore so I will add some info regarding DK in a week or so.

As I said a long time ago To Bruk or not To Bruk (with the indulgence of Shakespeare).

Wow its overwehlming
Thanks you all
i ll gonna ask you a lot of info special about the Warschau type and of course about the "primitive overvieuw of Tuss
but we will needing photographs of some of them
Its going to be a bit of confusing for some but i ll be sure in the end we gonna end with a short list
Its new and we gonna make mistakes and have to change some things in our learning proces but it will be worthed
It looks that i m for a few weeks stuck with Tobruks (but i don t care)
And i ll have to do the field work also ...
I hope you give comments , no matter what you think it can open doors that we didn t see
ask questions dont hesitate
I m gonna start in a few moments
First classifie these things
Dirk

To Bunkermann
Hello
There are areas thats been measured by the BRV that are really excellent I ll think Sceveningen is such an area (I hope Jos or others can confirm this for this area
You l see it has the " low entrance "
left of the entrance door you l have 60 cm and on the right side we have 75 (By the 58d these two sides must be the same (40 or 60 cm)
Even with the local arrangements with the steps its for me an Bf 58c For being sure it is no fault in the plan has any of you interior pictures ?

Re: Bauformen
For Tus
For the moment these looks like Bf 58c to me , one with the room for beds
But whats the biggest question here
the entrence door (of the L) is high (i ve outside pictures of the one in Blavand) but what we must figure out the door which is circled in red
is this the "high" model or the "low" With these info we can call it a VF8 or the Bf 58c
PS anywhere a Tobuk with wat we call the L entrance is found and one can give this answer it would be great
We have to see a lot of them before we can proof something no?
PS for our friens in the netherlands search everywhere in BRV or in the field
This info we need to continue
I can tell for the moment
the ones we cleaned and measured it the last few weeks in France are all for me VF8 (the forerunner of the BF58c...

Re: Bauformen
For Andrew
Do we know if the measures took by this person are relatively good ?
i ll think yes
but something puzles me
see the red these two measures dont fit
i ll read 80 but that wall must be 30 and the 120 doesn t fit either
sugestions ? pictures ? is it a one of or is this constructed a few times?
Dirk

Re: Bauformen
80/120 could be width and height of the entrance. If you take a look at the side view, I think the values should be close.

Re: Bauformen
Yes you are right TH
I didnt understand
Thanks
So we know we must place it in the second generation Tobruks
Now lets find out if its a one of or...
For the moment we can say a variant of the 58d type... but i think we better give it no type at all (for the moment)

Re: Bauformen
I wonder too! Hmm mayby it's time to ask Miniewicz personally? It's been so long ago since he have it-just like 30 years in archives-now we can open archives to publicherring wrote:Hello @ndrew,

I'm going to ask him-If I know anything I'll let You know.
Anyone seen plan of Tobruk built ('sculpted') in rocks?
PS It looks that You are online on AHF late in the night or rather early morning
I like this time for research too: it's so quiet in home: everybody's sleeping.
