Not exactly: I thought about Tobruk built in rocks.
But this is OK too! It's good to see it in construction details.

Sounds good but you may take a look at this forum too. I came across it by accident (as far that is possible)

For Andrew
Fels imbau forum.jpg
here i found a Tobruk 58d with a drawning for construction in rocksy bottom
i ll think they re used here an old drawning because the "felsimbau" is not mentioned
Can our norvegian friens shed any light? Is this sort of Tobruk constructed in Norway ?
In France it is extremely rare

We are sure that the entrance on the side or in the back also won t change the type....
Dirk
Here you go Dirk :)
This special one is located app 1 km south of Nymindegab. The entrance is placed "low" and another detail is the access to the Tobruk is placed in the centre of the 200cm x 200cm crew room.
I just think these small variations are done as a result of strategically conclusions varying from site to site, location to location and from Pionier to Pionier.
So in my world still a 58c...

I have always defined the early VF8 to be recognisable by its high entrance and only 1 step to the Tobruk. Or am I way off?

And Thanks Andrzej :D
