Hello,

Here is a 40cm thick bunker simply called "Falkenhorst Wohnbunker" and a few pics from one of them. The principe is the same as the one presented by Jos above.

181 ID Records 315-1543. However the exemplar on the picture is on 214.ID area.

According to the accompanying document, Gen.d.Pi.u.Fest. forbade the "verstärkt feldmässig[n] Ausbau" and so the Wohnbunker Falkenhorst with 1 m reinforced concrete walls was discontinued.

Yes, the 1m thick v.f.Bunkers were forbidden by Hitler few days before. That's why they released 40-cm thick version of the Falkenhorst Wohnbunker and also stone made or underground dug version of if (page 1 of this topic).

is this a ww2 type? because we found almost an identical ww1 german bunker like that Falkenhorst in the Brancourt-stellung near Laon
