Hi,
At the begining of this topic it is said that the german modified the gun to use it as a AT gun. Does anyone knows what the modification(s) consist(s) in ?

Thanks

Concur images are not flipped. The recoil guard for the layer is on the left of the breech on both guns where it should be. I have had a good look at the gun captured in Libya in 1942 and returned to Australia for tech intel evaluation at MGO Maribyrnong. It was an early conversion chambered for the original Russian cartridge and without a muzzle brake. The sight is the standard Pak type as per the Pak38 and Pak40. The sight drum is still intact and is graduated in 100m intervals for:

PzGr.39 0-15,
PzGr40 0-14 and
7,62cm Spr F.K.296(r) 0-41.

There are some photos of these guns in North Africa on AWM website - look at photo numbers around 014257 and 024685,

cheers,

D.
