great stuff
I relly would have helped you but as you found out yourself , not much is standard , i d love to see the plan when finished
so we could compare the BRV drawning with the drawning from Alex and you
Bunkers are a fascinating item , it s really impressive 1500 visitors
sometimes we have also more than thousand visitors in our SK1 , and these days i hate

Hi Dirk, i agree that it's not nice for the guides when it's so crowded!
We had 18 visitors (18 flashlites as counting system) continualy during the whole day in the bunker, and the entrance was only half open. Lots of old people climbing in and getting stuck, because their legs wont coörporate in the entrance  . It gave me a serious headache, and it's a mirracle no serious injuries happend. We also provided helmets, i think this saved few hundred scratched scalps!

So no time to chat with interesting people and friends that came, while for me that's usually the nicest part of these events..
Next time we open a special object i'll let you know, if you like you can come and measure
We announced the opening on the fortificatieforum, but i forgot that some of our southern neighbours also might want to come!

In total about 4000 tickets (wristbands) were sold for the event, that understates the importance of good media attention!

Gr, Tim

Thanks Jos, the most credits go to event organisation company ,,winkelman en hessen'' who organised the media attention, and the ticketsales!
This was way to big for us to handle.. there was even a (sold out) special bustour from the achterhoek, were lot's of evecuated Scheveningers were send during the war.
But you are right, bunkers are hot

I don't think there would be doors later, this was space for I profiles and a steel plated ceiling. Think they were never placed.

There are some remains of brick stones between the reinforcement bars on the roof side,
My idea was they removed some big apparatus from the left side of the bunker to the wide entrance on the right.. but it's just an idea.
The wooden doorframe and part of the brick wall between the compensatorroom and measuringroom is also broken out..

Or maybe they just stripped the steel beams after the war

I have another question about the rooms.. between the entrance defense rooms we have 2 rooms:
Next to the toilet we have the room for the central heating system, but in the small room between the compensatorroom and the coolingwater room there is also a chimney pipe with cleaning pipe present..
I have a drawing but its to big to place here..

Hello,

here the first preview of the unfinished drawing...
the inside size are ready... now I would like to draw in some more Details.

Jos, the two cabels are on the left wall at the "Lager" room.

Tim, I also think about metal thiefs after the war... but not shure... the feinforcing bars look so clean?
think it should be stand together with the removemend of the Radar an machine devices.

btw. how looks the BRV drawing?

Nice mate!
You can delet the 2 blocks sticking out the frontwall, they were not present.
I did found some steel hooks there, try to place pics and brv drawing tonight.
Or maybe someone else has the brv drawing nearby?
