A 7.5 cm Pak 97/38 is winched from a underground shelter to a emplacement .

I am really puzzeld: there are 8 (photogragpher included) men in charge of a small gun:
To bring that gun into action it would appear that 2 men need to wind it up the slope using a winch which is rove to disadvantage and lead blocks are required.
I am sure that the two men using the winding gear would be happy to do that under fire..
8 men with two ropes wou;d bring the gun up and into crash action in seconds!
No ammunition in sight, either??

You are right , it's not the fastest way to handle the gun , maybe it's was a kind of test .
