Hello everybody,

In Belgium, there is a type of VF bunker built many times in 1944 and that is call Kleinstunterstand on the German drawings. A few of them still exist today. Hereunder one of them as measured on the field, and the German plan of the WN showing this same bunker as a Kleinstunterstand.

PS I forgot
It is Cap Blanc Nez stp 109 Dusseldorf
there we find these Marine Wellblech Heinrichs and ... VF 2a
but not the same VF 2a ... all are 1 m thick but the roof varies from 1 m to 1m 40 and 2 meter
maybe this type is called here in the Fest Pi Stab 27 also Kleinstunterstand ...
Looking in other documents for the word Kleinstunterstand
Hope we gonna find some
If we all work together we can maybe find something
For me it doesn t matter who finds it the first...

on this document of Bordeaux we see clearly as erwann stated that there are the normal version of the Kleinstunterstand 668 and the Kleinunterstand 668/40
as they did on the 7 KVA B region with 668 and Kleinstunterstand type II
and on the same base constructed , in bau or completed

here is one found in Pointe de l Espagnol (sector Cr )7 KVA B StP Nordspitze Crozon (2).jpg
actually there are two of them covering the rads leading to the point
Dirk
Could this be a WW1 design which has been re-used in WW2?

Because we found such bunker near Wijtschate (B). The last 3 years we only study ww1 bunkers in Belgium and France and we found a lot of them that can been reffered as predecessors of the later ww2 bunkers, even ww1 variants of leitstände with 2 floors!

It's completely different. It's more a evolution of a 625 gun room with thin walls.
It also has a different function (anti-tank) instead of field gun.

on invenio i found a plan of this Schußsichere Unterstand für 1 gruppe, i've layered it in sketchup and here is the result. its a bunkerdesign from 1917. notice the entrance defense and the version with- or without observationpost (turmdecke aus nickelstahl, 950kg)

It reminds me of the regelbau 621 with-or without öffene beobachter (??)
