Re: Prefab Tobruk
Here an example of partially prefabricated Ringstand: walls made of concrete blocks (holes for steel bars) and ceiling beams with additional concrete layer on top.

Re: Prefab Tobruk
Thanks forttravel.
Very interesting drawing. In Denmark we have hundreds of MG-bunkers (the so-called IS-Stände) and other buildings made of concrete blocks with the same dimensions (50*25*15cm). I have never seen concrete blocks with those dimensions at other places.
But it may be coincidence. The holes in the blocks are different too. The blocks in Denmark normally have 3 holes Ø50mm in the center line.
The ceiling beams look like Hoyerbalken, but they may also be traditionally-armed prefab concrete beams. At least this is the case in some IS-Stande in Denmark.
greetings Lars

is this a Tobruk prefab ????
Re: Prefab Tobruk
The tobruk from Jazote looks a lot like the Kretabauweise , stone base and walls and a upperpart from concrete .
Re: Prefab Tobruk
On page 2 you see some concrete pipes used in the A.W. , here the document (3) that belongs to that. ( NARA H.Gr. B.)
