ID Italian guns
Re: ID Italian guns
Thank you, Dili.
Unfortunately in the link, there are only a blurry photo of the 105/28 gun with this type of wheels:
I think that more italian artillery pieces used this model of wheels: Obice da 149/13, Cannone da 75/46 AA,.....
Any wartime image?

The last two photos look more like German troops with a 3.7 Flak 37.

Re: ID Italian guns
I see some Giovanni Fascisti with black beret, some others seem motorcycle troops with typical glasses.
But the gun does indeed ressemble the Flak 37

Re: ID Italian guns
Obviously a Cannone da 75/27 Mod. 06 with 1940 wheels, a sole Cannone da 105/28 (it's not well-known, but its factory designation was "105. G. 1", where G probably stands for "grand champ de tir") and a battery of the same guns.Dili wrote:Some more
Are you talking about Souda in Crete?Dili wrote:A Gun in Suda Port - it is possible this is a Greek gun.
The gun on photo looks like a typical 75 mm mountain Krupp (not the Krupp-Likoudis).
PS
Do we have a special thread for the Central Archives of the State WW2 upload here on AHF?
With best regards, Ilya.
Re: ID Italian guns
