Guten Tag,
I am new to this forum and to the Third Reich list in general. I know there is a modeling section, and I have posted this there, but want to poke around to see if others might have what I am looking for.
I sometimes build German armor miniatures, but am looking to do a fine scale Type VIIB/C variant Uboat. I am tracking down drawings, plans, pics and such.
I want to render this project in 1/35 scale, which will make this a large project, but I might start out with the bridge tower and possibly the foredeck.
With that in mind, I am trying to find details on the 88mm Schiffskanone C/35 in a naval mount. It is related to the Pak/Flak versions only in that it is firing the same nominal caliber round. The actual rounds for the field pieces do not even fit the C/35. I therefore cannot use any of the excelent models of the .88s that are out there.
Do any of you have info? Thanks.

Xavier,
Thanks for the info. Would you happen to have the Verlinden Miniatures website URL? A quick search turned up a racing electronics site.

http://uboat.net/special/models/kits.ht ... =Verlinden

the andrea miniatures are actually 1/32th scale, but no major problem here:

Thank you very much Xavier.
These are fine refs - and some are very expensive! One could reserect a real U-boot for about the same cost! :D

Xavier,
Thanks very much for these...they are great! I really smiled at the pic of the Graf Spee damage! It looks like the screw chopped it up good! Can you imagine what that sounded like to her crew inside!
When I was in the first Gulf War with Iraq, my fighting hole got run over by an American M1A1...I was not hurt but it sure woke me up! The poor crew in the u-boat must have been scared whitless!
