Day 3:

The Maginot line......
these are French bunkers...... But since the Germans re-used many of them in 1944, and the Americans attacked them, it is still a bit on topic :D

The largest fortress in the Maginot line was called Hackenberg.
This is now restored as a museum. about 10 bunkers are connected with 11 Km`s of tunnels!! The fortress was manned by nearly 1000 soldiers!

Erik what kind of thank is this I think its a pzIV but the barrel loks a bit short what happened to it

It`s a flamethrower!

The barrel you can see on this photo is just sheetmetal covering the flamethrower.
