Hi all,

I found on EBay this curious image of a 28-32cm rocket launcher on a sled.
I think the launcher consists of two racks of a s. WG 40 launcher for SdKfz 251 halftrack 8O

Interesting: "WG 40" is written on the side without the "s".

Is the soldier on the top picture putting the fuzes on?

So they are not the sWG 40 launchers. ;)
The sWG 40 was a standardized wooden frame for four rockets in their crates, sWG 41 was a steel one.
The wooden crates were called 28 cm Packkiste and 32 cm Packkiste, abbreviated as PK 28 and PK 32 respectively. The steel crates were generally called Packkiste (Stahl), but I have no idea if they carried any separate abbreviations (e.g. PK 28 St or so).
