Really nice!
Is Arthur still in hibernation or something........
Were these still buried?
I thought all turrets in Denmark were found already......;-)
Great news.

Damn nice indeed Morten :D

@JK: I also thought all intact turrets were accounted for, but apparently I didn't do my investigation thoroughly when I made my report on the Danish cupolas some years ago. But very nice to find these two beauties! :D
And I can't take all the credit. It was actually one of my good friends who made the initial discovery of the 3P7.

Thanks guys. It was indeed a very nice day! :D
I have also done a little bit of research on the western 632 in Tværsted. This one was not equipped with a standard cupola like the 3P7, but a look-a-like, that was constructed of thin steel-plates (app 5-10mm) with a special “Betonmisch” in between. It had a thickness of 14cm and must have looked pretty much like a normal round Dreischartenturm. Anyone seen anything similar to this before??

At Dillingen there seems to be one of the early bunkers that has the same idea as a dreischartenturm.
The bunker is still there and the turret too, we did not found it however.

That sounds very interesting. Any idea where in Dillingen? Been there a couple of years ago, but didn't hear about this. Maybe Markus or Daniel can help here??

J Kernwerk wrote on 1th of april 2013 that he was thinking about similarities to one early Dreischartenturm in the Dilligen area at the Westwall. I think that he was talking about WH B 3616 build witih the Grenzwacht programm. But thia turret is different again.
